When we make space for difference, we make space for truth.
Meet Amy, Founder & Lead Trainer of Grounded Path Yoga.
Yoga Teacher, Regular Person, Mother, Guide
My path into yoga began young, but over time it became something far deeper than movement alone. What first arrived as a physical practice slowly unfolded into a way of living; a way of listening more closely, softening more honestly, and returning again and again to what is true.
I teach from the understanding that yoga is not about performance. It is about presence. It is about coming home to the body, creating steadiness in the nervous system, and remembering that there is wisdom already within us.
Based in North Holland, I offer yoga teacher training programmes, yoga classes, workshops, private lessons, and a very personal massage sessions . My teaching blends intelligent movement, breath, stillness, philosophy, and deep rest. It is rooted in alignment, but always led by compassion. I care deeply about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to explore, soften, strengthen, and simply be.
My work has been shaped by many years of study, teaching, motherhood, and service. I am an Advanced Yoga Teacher and Trainer, with additional training in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, anatomy, pre and postnatal yoga, and birth support. I am also a certified Doula, and this has profoundly influenced the way I hold space; with reverence for the body, for life’s thresholds, and for the quiet intelligence of each individual experience.
There is a thread that runs through all of my work; whether I am teaching a flowing class, guiding someone into stillness, supporting a mother, or mentoring a future teacher. That thread is this: to help people feel more at home in themselves.
My intention is to offer a space for everyone, and experiences that help them remember who they already are.
Grounded to the earth. Open to the sky. Led by heart.
