Grounded Path Yoga. A Yoga School
For Every Body.
Yoga teacher trainings in-person. For every person.
Ground from the Earth. Rise to the Sky. Teach from the Heart.
Step into a transformative journey with Grounded Flow Yoga Teacher Training Programmes.
A Teacher Training Designed for Real People, Real Lives, and Real Growth.
Many yoga schools today are large, institutional, and built to process high numbers of trainees. Grounded Path Yoga School is intentionally different.
We offer a small-group, 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in the Alkmaar / Heiloo region, designed for students who want depth, personal attention, and an environment that feels warm, human and grounded.
This is training for those who want to teach and for those seeking meaningful personal development—a gentle immersion into yoga, rest, awareness and community.
What Makes Our Programme Stand Out.
Small-group training
A maximum of 6–10 trainees means focused attention, individual mentoring, real practice time, and a learning environment where everyone is known and supported.
Restorative-rich, nervous-system aware curriculum
Unlike large schools with a one-size-fits-all syllabus, our programme includes an extra emphasis on Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and nervous-system sensitive teaching. You’ll learn to teach from a place of steadiness, presence and compassion—skills that transform lives far beyond the mat.
Learning in a warm, homely environment
Our weekends take place in a calm studio space in Heiloo, with the option to stay onsite. Expect homemade, nourishing food and an atmosphere that feels more like a retreat than a classroom.
Real mentorship beyond the 200 hours
We don’t just certify you and wave goodbye. Graduates receive continued guidance, class feedback, teaching opportunities and help with building confidence or launching their own offerings.
Co-teaching with specialists
You’ll train with Amy Eastwood and Stephanie Strange (RYT-500)—a restorative, yoga nidra and somatic awareness specialist. This dual-teacher approach enriches your understanding and exposes you to diverse teaching methods.
Values-led: ethics, inclusivity & community
Our training integrates:
trauma-aware teaching
inclusivity, accessibility & ethics
community outreach projects
personal reflection
embodied leadership
This is yoga training that expands far beyond asana.
